Welcome to Winvian Farm

Our wedding venue, Winvian Farm, is a breathtaking 113-acre retreat nestled among woodlands and scenic lakes in the heart of the Litchfield Hills of western Connecticut.

When searching for the perfect venue, we dreamed of a place we could call our own for an entire weekend—somewhere to gather, celebrate, and relax with the people we love most. Larissa especially hoped for a true farm-to-table dining experience, and Winvian delivered beyond our expectations. Choosing it to host our wedding weekend was an easy and joyful decision.

The property features its own organic, biodynamic farm, which supplies the ingredients for Winvian’s renowned seed-to-table cuisine. You'll also find an award-winning spa, a pool, and plenty of open space for lawn games, as well as a wide array of on- and off-site activities to enjoy during your downtime.

We can't wait for you to join us for a joyful, relaxing weekend getaway to celebrate together!

Our Story
Our story began on a warm October day in 2021 with a hike and a sandwich at Eldorado Canyon, Colorado, where we discovered our shared interests in cuisine, adventure, and travel.

Soon after, we were planning creative dates ranging from a corn maze, Derby party, our first concert together at Red Rocks, a weekend in Vail, camping, biking, and lots of shared meals.

By the summer of 2022, Larissa met Charles's family for the first time in Nantucket, where they continued their adventures biking around the island, swimming in the ocean, and falling in love.

Larissa and Charles created a home together in June 2023, moving into a new house in the Sunnyside neighborhood of Denver, Colorado.

On February 23, 2024, Charles proposed to Larissa while skiing the legendary 'Backbowls' of Vail on a beautiful sunny afternoon.
...she said yes!
Wedding Attire
The dress code for our wedding is Semi-Formal attire, with a "Garden Party" emphasis, striking a balance between elegance and comfort for an outdoor setting. Light, breathable fabrics, floral prints and patterns, and light or pastel colors are welcomed. You do not need to wear specific colors; choose something you feel good in! If you are looking for color inspiration, our theme includes blush (light pink) and varying shades of green.
We suggest that women wear a mid- to knee-length dress or skirt. Dressy separates (two-piece ensembles and suits) or dressy jumpsuits would also work. For women's shoes, we recommend block heels, wedges, or flats. Our ceremony will take place outside on grass.
Our best advice for men is to wear dress pants and a fun dinner jacket with a button-down shirt. Men can ditch their ties with a semi-formal dress code if they choose to do so. For men's shoes, we recommend loafers and oxfords, but dress shoes are also okay if that's what you prefer.
**Please do not wear jeans.
